Clay Shoot Gundog Training Days

For the team at Cotswold Fieldsports, a big part of the enjoyment of shooting is having an obedient and loyal companion with them in the form of their gundogs.

Cotswold Fieldsports holds a number of unique Clay Shoot Gundog Training Days throughout the year to allow those with peg dogs to practice their skills ready for the shooting season.

The days simulate a driven game shoot day with clays for the guns and dummy retrieves for the dogs at the end of each drive, giving the guns a chance to train their dogs in as close a scenario as possible to a game day.

Each day begins with a briefing and initial training on how to work your dog with a gun before heading out to the drives.

Novice and experienced dogs and handlers are welcome.

All of our training is provided by Cotswold Gundogs.
